Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a practice that has been around for 10,000 years and has been recognized for centuries. It gained popularity in the United States during the 1970's, with one the first clinics, the Lincoln Detox Center, established by the Black Panthers and the Young Lords in the Bronx. The primary treatment used is called NADA, which involves an auricular approach targeting five points in the ears to assist with substance abuse.
Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine operate on the concept of body meridians to identify and address imbalances. Many individuals experience symptom relief after just one session. Treatment protocols can vary significantly, ranging from short-term plans of 1-4 weeks to long-term approaches lasting 3-10 years, and everything in between.
Generally, acupuncture is a painless procedure, although some may feel a slight pinch during needle insertion.
Facial Rejuvenation
Facial rejuvenation treatments last approximately 60 minutes. During the session, you will receive 40-100 needles in your face and sit with them for 30 minutes. Following the acupuncture, a lymphatic facial massage will be performed using a serum and a Jade Gua Sha tool.
Facial acupuncture stimulates collagen production, resulting in younger and more supple skin. It can also address issues such as pigmentation changes, acne, puffiness, eczema, and redness.
Dr. Foster has developed a unique facial protocol to enhance results. She also creates a special serum in-house, which is applied during the lymphatic drainage Gua Sha. Additionally, you will receive a neck mask infused with 24K gold, collagen, and tremella during your session.

We adhere to FDA and WWF (World Wildlife Foundation) guidelines, ensuring that no products from endangered or at-risk species are used. All animal products are sourced ethically and sustainably.
The herbs at Tilia Integrative Health are obtained from suppliers who ethically harvest them and rigorously test for heavy metals, pesticides, and other environmental toxins.
Herbs and supplements are tailored to each patient based on various factors and are available in forms such as tea pills, powders, capsules, tinctures, and topicals.
Cupping + Gua sha
Cupping is a traditional method that employs glass or plastic cups to draw out pathogens from the body.
Gua sha is another ancient practice that involves using a tool to gently scrape the skin, promoting the movement of stagnant Qi and blood.
Both treatments are effective for managing pain and addressing chronic conditions.
Typically, cupping and gua sha leave marks on the skin that fade within 3 to 10 days.
Acupuncture has been shown in many peer reviewed studies to be effective. Here are links to some of those articles.
